But thou shalt remember the Lord Thy God,
for it is he that giveth Thee power to get wealth,
that he May establish his covenant….

Deu8:18

In James chapter one it states that all good things come from above and cometh down from the Father of Lights with whom is no variableness.  God is the author of our faith and the author of our wealth and of our health and wellbeing.  All the glory goes to God.  It is not our money that makes us rich but God who gives us the power to get wealth.  Our money is temporal.  It can leave us as fast as it came.  But God gives us the power and it is in the power that we give God the glory.  In the same vain it is not our vitamins that make us healthy or our diet or exercise but God who provides the vitamins, the food, and the exercise to make us healthy.  We can take all the vitamins in the world and still die of sickness.  We can eat all the right foods and still get cancer.  We can exercise all the time and still have a heart attack.  But if God provides the vitamins, the food, and the exercise we will be healthy and live long all the days of our lives.

Our walk is a walk of faith.  We receive faith the minute we believe.  Faith is a gift.  It is the presence of God in our temple.  We must acknowledge that all good things come from God and nothing temporal.  We must believe that it is God who gives us the power and not we ourselves.  God can give us wealth and health without any natural means whatsoever or he can use the natural things to bring about our health and wealth and bring satisfaction to our souls.  Thus we do not put our faith in money or vitamins or food.  We put our faith in God and believe that he will watch over our lives and bring us to the desired place he would have us be.

Know too, that our strength is made perfect in weakness (2Cor12:9).  It is as we are weak that we experience the resurrection power, the healing power, and the deliverance power in our lives.  As I die to self and the world and all worldly associations that the power of God rests upon me and lifts me up.  For it is when I am weak that I am strong.  We know this power of God to give us wealth and health by being poor and weak for sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.  It is as we step out in faith and believe God, not our money or our vitamins or our food and exercise that the power of God is manifest in our lives.  Therefore believe that it is God who gives the power and nothing temporal or material and you will grow in faith and in the blessing of God.

Amen.
