Are you a lifeless and powerless Christian? Are you merely going through the motions without the presence? What you need, what you desperately need, is the Spirit and the Word. Go to the Father in prayer Enter into your closet Close yourself off from the world And cry out to God Tell Him your poverty Tell Him your need Be honest and open And my God shall answer He will come quickly To fill the void that begins at birth It is a grace to know your need It is a grace to hunger and thirst for God It is a grace to receive the Spirit It is a grace to receive the Word The remedy for sin, sickness, and death Is Jesus Ask Him into your heart Be willing to live for Him and Him alone Be willing to forsake all And my God will come to you My God will live in you And you will be born from above And find true peace and happiness Just let Him in He is standing at the door Open it and let Him in Amen |
